Bonnie "Bee" J. Evans is a creator and curator of time-based art and has developed work across a spectrum of disciplines; from theater, dance, and opera; to poetry, installation art, and ritual-making; to music, tv, and film. Her creative producing career includes time at The Dallas Theater Center, Virginia Stage Company, Working Theater, The Public Theater, BRIC, Fiasco Theater, Blue Man Group, and Sleep No More, to name a few. She is also a director and dramaturg specializing in participatory, experimental, and devised performance, most recently directing for Blue Book Theatre in Barcelona, Spain. She is a co-founder of Barcelona Repertory Theatre, where she serves as Resident Director and Dramaturg, and is the Managing Producer of Fiasco Theater in NYC, which the New York Times calls "a force to reckon with in the American theater." She holds an MA in Applied Theatre, focusing on theater as a tool for community building and social action, and an MFA in Theater Pedagogy and Dramaturgy.
